Hello, my name is Michael Thomas Griffin (Mike). I recently changed my name from G. Michael Fortin (to find out why watch "The Birth of a Father" below). I founded the video production company Enue Studios LLC in 2015 to serve businesses and individuals with top-quality, customized video content.

In 2018 I was hired at US Sailing to be their Video Production Manager as the foundation for their first in-house production team. I have worked with US Sailing's most high profile partners such as Rolex and Sperry and with the Olympic Athletes creating high-quality video content. While at US Sailing, CBS Sports has broadcasted videos I have made and I have also been featured in publications such as Scuttlebutt Sailing News. I have worked alone to create video content, with production teams, and also lead other editors and assitant editors.

I have 25 years experience video editing with Adobe Premiere and After Effects (the latter of which I am an Adobe Certified Expert). I am also very well versed with color grading in programs such as Davinci Resolve, audio editing in Adobe Audition, and 3D Animation in Cinema 4D.

Prior to founding Enue Studios I studied Film at the University of Rhode Island and worked for over a decade in the film and video production industry. I have written, directed, edited, and produced my own short films, which have been showcased at film festivals around the world.

My goal being a video/filmmaker is to connect with people and make them emotionally invested in my work and the brands my work represents.

The Birth of a Father

Learn why my name changed from G. Michael Fortin to Michael Thomas Griffin, in this short autobiographical film I made just before by daughter was born. It was a Semi-Finalist in the 2022 Rhode Island International Film Festival.

Enue World
Enue World

This is a 5 minute Climate Change project I created, strictly with footage from the internet. The only footage I created myself is the 40 second outer space shot of the Earth that starts it off.

The Pink Javelin Journey
The Pink Javelin Journey

This story of a senior olympian was created with over 1000 clips that were given to me in combination with addition interviews and footage that I shot. Frank hired me to produce, direct, and edit this video for a send off event held before he went to nationals.

Pushing the Norm
Pushing the Norm

This is a short documentary focused on the 28 year old Special Olympian Norm Marsh, from Jamestown, RI. It encapsaltes the unique and inspirational spirit of Norm elevating and empowering the viewer with the perspective that with the right attitude there is no obstacle too great to prevent you from achieving your goals.

Memoria
Memoria (2018)

This short film follows a young botanist who grows a mysterious flower with trecherous effects. I wrote, directed, edited, and produced this film as well as animated the flower blooming, using stylistic lighting techniques to help sell it's authenticity.

Great Blue
Great Blue (2014)

I wrote, directed, edited, and produced this film in 2012 with barely any budget. The story had connected with the actors on such a personal level that they willingly volunteered their time to help realize it. It tells the tale of a father finding out his son has just died and how he goes about raising his orphaned grandchild.

The RI Yoga Center
The Rhode Island Yoga Center

I was contracted to produce a promotional video for The Rhode Island Yoga Center. They wanted to capture and portray a feeling of community and welcoming. I conducted testimonial interviews to serve as the skeleton for the piece, while I unintrusivly captured hours of yoga classes as well as friendly interactions and smiles in the lobby. The result being beyond what had been expected, lead to many other clients and projects including 'The Pink Javelin Journey'.

Miracles Workshop
Miracles Workshop

This was a project I was hired to complete by an instructor at The Rhode Island Yoga Center. She was preparing a spiritual seminar and wanted to capture and promte it. The idea of what the final product might be was very vague until the end. I suggested we shoot the seminar and then conduct interviews that would act as surveys for the success of the class that would help direct the story in the editing room. The result was as if it had all been planned from the beginning leaving a very satisfied client.
